Developed and optimized evolutionary-developmental algorithms in the tunably rugged NK model, addressing the high complexity in solution search due to its nondeterministic polynomial-time completeness as well as polynomial local search completeness;

Applied results to developmental neural networks, investigating artificial neuroplasticity to overcome the status quo of AI’s high fragility to changes in its neural network;

Published full paper in ALIFE 2022 of the International Society for Artificial Life.
